With a rich background spanning over three decades, Jason has immersed himself in various facets of maritime operations, including refit and repair, on-board operational engineering, safety management, and marine surveying.

Professional Journey Highlights:

• Sole Proprietor & Principal Marine Surveyor: Jason Caple is the driving force behind Broadwater Marine, where his extensive knowledge and experience in marine surveying serve as the foundation of our services.

• Diploma with Merit in Marine Surveying: In 2011, Jason completed his Diploma with Merit in Marine Surveying from the prestigious University of Middlesex in England. This academic achievement marked a pivotal moment, propelling him into a career dedicated to excellence in marine surveying.

• Global Experience: With a focus on superyachts, Jason played a pivotal role as a liaison for the classification survey contingent for ABS and Lloyds Classification Societies for Superyachts based in Palma, Mallorca. His expertise was further recognized when he was headhunted by Al Seer Marine Supplies & Equipment Co P.J.S.C. in Abu Dhabi. Here, he authored and implemented Safety Management System manuals for superyachts belonging to Crown Prince Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Notable projects included MV Rabdan (72m), MV Ecstasea (85m), and MV Pelorus (115m).

• International Credentials: Jason expanded his knowledge by completing studies with Lloyds Register for Ship Internal Auditing and International Ship & Port State Code control, enhancing his global perspective on maritime safety and compliance.

• Contributions to Marine Community: Currently serving as the secretary committee member for the International Institute of Marine Surveys Canada Branch (IIMS Canada), Jason actively participates in various American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Project Technical Committees. His contributions align with our commitment to the continual enhancement of the worldwide marine community.
